High-Quality Wood Chip Mulch for Your Landscape

Our wood chippers turn branches and clean wood debris into a nutrient-rich, natural mulch. It’s perfect for landscaping beds, suppressing weeds, retaining soil moisture, and creating natural pathways. Using our wood chip mulch is a sustainable and cost-effective way to enhance your property.

Raw Logs (Green Firewood)

Due to the high water content, fresh cut wood (green firewood) is not suitable to burn immediately. It may take several months to dry the wood sufficiently for use in a fireplace, which is great if it’s the end of winter or the warmer months where it is not needed straight away.

We can deliver the raw cut logs for you to store in a  corner of your yard to dry out and be used at a later date. We are always trying to get rid of tree waste and are more than happy to give away green logs to cut down on our own expenses when removing trees.

Frequently Asked Questions

Woodchips are small- to medium-sized pieces of wood formed by cutting or chipping larger pieces of wood such as treesbranches, logging residues, stumpsroots, and wood waste.

The process of making woodchips is called wood chipping and is done using a wood chipper. The types of woodchips formed following chipping is dependent on the type of wood chipper used and the material from which they are made.

Green wood is wood that has been recently cut and therefore has not had an opportunity to season (dry) by evaporation of the internal moisture. Green wood contains more moisture than seasoned wood, which has been dried through passage of time or by forced drying in kilns.

The higher moisture content relative to air-dried or seasoned wood makes it less suitable for burning.
